Unfortunately, due to Covid the Centre was closed for almost 15
months, as from March 2020. But, in line with recent Government
guidelines we have resumed limited sporting activities since 24
May 2021, in a group of six members at a time. We play Table
tennis on Mondays and Wednesday and Pools on Tuesdays and
Thursdays in a group of six at a time as per allotted rota. Almost
25+ members avail the facility regularly.

Following the easing of all Government legal restrictions with e ect from 19 July
2021, the Management Committee has unanimously agreed to open the Centre
for all activities as before on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with e ect from

Monday 26 July 2021, subject to any further changes to be announced by the
Government. All necessary precautions will be taken, and the members are
advised of individual responsibility recommended by the Government, to strongly
take necessary care and caution.
I am extremely saddened to report that during the past sixteen months, fourteen
of our members have sadly passed away, leaving us all in grief and sorrow. This
is almost 10% of our Centre membership. On behalf of the Centre Management
Committee and the entire membership, I express my deepest and heartfelt
condolences to all families of our departed members. Our thoughts and prayers

are with them during this very di cult period.
