We are already halfway through the year of 2021, which
began with lot of uncertainty. However, when the government
started the vaccination programme, in December 2020 there
was a feeling that COVID situation would ease up and it now
seems that we are cautiously coming out it.

The new committee of LCNL was recently formed, at the AGM
for 2021-2023 and I have been honoured to be re-appointed as Social Secretary
and Pushpaben Karia continues as my Assistant Social Secretary. Lockdown
has changed the way we do things, however it has not broken our spirits as we
continued undertaking our usual regular and popular functions at LCNL.
The year started with celebration of virtual Ramnavmi on 21st April 2021, which
was sponsored by Prakashbhai, Rajubbhai, Bharatbhai, Sanjaybhai Thakrar and
Family. The bhajans were performed by Rajendrabhai Pala & Group from Mumbai
and was broadcasted live on MATV and enjoyed by devotees and other viewers
on LCNL Facebook page, from the UK and across the globe.
The next event was virtual celebration of Hanuman Jayanti on 27th April 2021,
from 10am to 6pm. With the blessings of Rambapa we held 108 Hanuman Chalisa
celebrations sponsored by a Lohana well-wisher and Hansaben Vrajlalbhai Pau &
family. They have been sponsoring this event for almost a decade.

108 Hanuman Chalisa was performed by Snehaben Makanji, Akhil and Rikhi,
and Jignsu Satsang mandal. The public could take part in o ering the bhog by

prior online registration and was very well executed whilst strictly following the
government guidelines. Others enjoyed the Hanuman Chalisa from the comfort
of their own homes.

Our next event will be one of our biggest celebration of Krishna Janmashtami
that will be celebrated on 30th August 2021. Although the government has eased
lot of guidelines, subject to further restrictions we intend to celebrate at DLC and
we will let you all know of the format nearer the time.
The new committee of LCNL is eager to see you all and hopefully we won’t
have to wait long. In the meantime, please stay safe and keep following the
government guidelines.
