JSK to you all,

The new YS 2021-2023 committee have been planning
activities for the summer months now that restrictions have

started to ease. We have planned YLS Summer Drinks for

August 2021, and YLS Golf for September 2021. We hope
to see you there – old and new faces welcomed! Of course, we will also be
coming back with Kids Garba in October 2021. This is always the event which the

committee most look forward to as it’s full of fun for us as well as the kids!

Our aim is to bring the young Lohanas of North London together, where we can
give back to the community, whilst still networking and socialising. Although it’s

always a pleasure to see the regular attendees, we always welcome new faces
and encourage those who haven’t come to events before to do so and see what

YLS is about. Growing our network ensures that there is a future for YLS for years to
come.

Prior to COVID-19, we regularly carried out Sewa activities and we will be

seeking to commence these again. There is a dedicated WhatsApp group for
Sewa activities where we reach out for volunteers to support in homeless food

distributions in Central London as well as food deliveries to shelters. If you are
interested in joining this group, please reach out to YLS via e-mail or social media.

We are always open to new ideas so please get in touch if you have any

feedback for us or are interested in joining the team.
