LMP Awards
We extend our congratulations to the following LCNL members who have been recognized by the
Lohana Maha Parishad for their exceptional contributions and achievements.
Mansukhbhai Raichura
Mr Mansukhlal Gordhandas Raichura - Bsc, Msc, Dip Chem Eng, M.I Gas Eng C Eng has been
recognized for his exceptional contributions and achievements as the Best Raghuvanshi Senor
Citizen for the year 2023
Mansukhbhai has been a founding committee member of LCNL. He has served the
community in various capacities and has helped many past presidents. Numerous Awards
have been given to him.
Dhirubhai Savani
Dhirubhai has been recognized for his exceptional contributions and achievements as the Best
Raghuvanshi Humanitarian Icon for the year 2023.
He has been a member of the LCNL Executive Committee for the last 32 years, serving in
different capacities. He was offered the position of LCNL President, but he humbly declined it.
He is responsible for overseeing the LCNL sports committee, which focuses on cricket and golf. He
manages multiple cricket teams playing at different levels, including the Middlesex County League. In addition, he
has been part of the LCNL Navratri team for more than multiple decades.
He has been chairperson of RCT and takes an active role in the adminstration of RCT.
Bharat Ghelani
Bharat has been recognized for his exceptional contributions and achievements as the Best
Raghuvanshi Journalist for the year 2023.
He is an active contributor in the creation of LCNL Diwali Magazine, which is known worldwide.
Bharat embodies warmth, kindness, and community spirit. For years, he has been instrumental
in the local Indian community, uniting individuals, particularly ex-Ugandans.
Bharat’s commitment extends beyond social engagement to his role as an Executive Committee member of
LCNL and a Trustee at RCT.
Kaylan Sodha
Kaylan has been recognised of your exceptional contributions/achievement as the Best Raghuvanshi Child Icon
for the year 2023. Kaylan Sodha, aged 13 attends Haberdashers’ Boys’ School.
From a very young age he showed real dedication to our culture and religion. He has extensive knowledge of all
the Hindu festivals and ensures he is always present. Some of these include Navratri, Holi, Hanuman Jayanti,
Jalaram Jayanti, Ram Navami, Janmashtami.
One particular event he is always proud to be a part of is the 24 hour Ram Dhun at Jalaram Mandir, Greenford
where he remained for the duration without any sleep. Additionally, Kaylan has won the LCNL President’s Award
at Navratri for the last 3 years.
To conclude, Kaylan is patriotic, hardworking and very proud to be a Lohana.
