               LCNL members recent accomplishments honoured by King


                             Chandubhai Rughani (BEM)

                             Chandubhai has been awarded the British Empire Medal (BEM) for his

                             Community Service work in North London by King. Since 2006, Chandubhai
                             has been the chairman of LCNL Lohana Social Centre Senior Men. Their

                             weekly meetings occur on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with lunch
                             provided. In addition, they provide a platform for senior men to interact

                             with each other, play cards, pool, table tennis, and get involved in other
        activities. Moreover, they organize events on a regular basis such as barbeques, nataks,

        mehfiles, religious events, Diwali Grand Night, and so on. He is also the chairperson of the

        Ageing Population project. Chandubhai, your name is a beacon of light in our community,
        embodying our values and demonstrating exemplary behaviour.  We are filled with pride for

        your achievements and thankful for your dedication to service and leadership.


                             Subhashbhai Vithaldas Thakrar (OBE)

                             Subhash V Thakrar, former Chair of the London Chamber of Commerce

                             and Industry has been awarded the OBE (Officer of the Most Excellent
                             Order of the British Empire) in the King’s Birthday Honour List for his

                             services to British Trade and Investment in Africa.
                             Your efforts have uplifted our community, and we are grateful for all

        you do. May this achievement lead you to even greater heights in your remarkable journey
        of service and leadership. Subhashbhai also received a prestigious Lifetime Achievement

        Award from the Institute of Chartered Accountants and served as Chairman of the London
        Chamber of Commerce for four years.



                                  Dayaljibhai Mamtora

                                  Congratulations to Dayaljibhai on celebrating his
                                  100th birthday this year. His excellent example will

                                  truly inspire our senior men. Dayalji Bhai was born

                                  in Jaspur, Saurashtra, India on May 17th, 1924 and
        settled in Blantyre, Malawi in 1945. His family and him moved to Northolt,

        Middlesex in 1977.


        In addition to the above, we would like to extend our heartfelt congratulations to Prof.
        Rajesh Thakker and all other Raghuvanshi who received an honor on the King’s Birthday list.
