Diwali Bulletin Committee Message

Dear fellow Raghuvanshi,
On behalf of my team and family, I would like to wish you all a truly wonderful Diwali and a prosperous new year. I pray that

your year fulfils your dreams and much more, may the new year bring happiness, health and prosperity to yourself and your
loved ones.

It is that time of the year where we can reflect on our actions, make promises on what we wish to accomplish over the next year
and make a positive impact to our society, friends, and family. I will share some of my own personal reflections:

I intend to make more time for my family and beautiful grandson (Luca), who always makes me smile when I look at his
innocent eyes, I also intend to assert a more positive impact to our society by committing to further events that help our

community progress further… we all have this ability and I intent to maximise my efforts. I implore you to think of your own
goals and draw a roadmap to achieve them, my best wishes are with you all.
Every year, we look to see how we can make the magazine more appealing and how we can introduce new progressive ideas.

This year, I was asked to create the Diwali Magazine at a very short notice; however, thanks to a dedicated team and our
wonderful sponsors we were able to complete a wonderful Magazine. I would first like to thank Yatin Davada, who was

instrumental in guiding us to the finish line, we would not have been able to deliver in such a short time if he hadn’t offered his

valuable time and help - thank you Yatin Bhai. I am so pleased that Yatinbhai has agreed to be the JOINT CONVENOR. I
have learnt so much during this experience, it was a tough challenge presented, yet with a strong team and a forward-thinking
President Dinesh Shonchhatra, we have been able to complete this year’s Diwali Magazine.
I would like to thank our President, Dineshbhai, for trusting me with this task and always encouraging our team to push
boundaries. He is always ready to help and get involved, guide and shape ideas to fruition. I would also like to thank my
Sub-Committee Pratibhaben Lakhani & Urmilaben Thakkar MBE, who have given their time and efforts in helping get this

magazine created, printed, and distributed to so many in our community. The articles have been categorised in a manner to
make the publication easier to follow and navigate, we are constantly striving to ensure it is palatable to our members.
This Diwali Publication would not have been possible if it were not for our sponsors. Some of our sponsors have supported us
for years, and have never said “NO” to us, we sincerely thank you for your continued support. This year we have also had a
record number of new sponsors, we thank you for your trust and support of Lohana community. It is the sponsors who enable
us to continue to support the community at large, even in these challenging times you have all been superb and a pleasure to
work with.

Big Thank you to our printers Liquid Bubble, especially Steve Berwick, who is very creative and doing a wonderful job. Also
like to thank Bharat Ghelani, Vinod Thakrar, Ronak Paw our Secretary, Vishal Sodha, and last but not the least Jeet Rughani

for all your help in supporting this task. I appreciate your time, efforts and help to serve the community in such a brilliant way!
A special thanks to my Husband Nitin, who has always helped me in my goal to support the community. To my daughter and
Son in Law, Krupa and Soren, thanks for your immense help and unwavering support.
